You have stumbled across my personal site and blog. Well, for me it is more of an experiment; a place for me to improve my English, since it is not my native language, and web designing skills, but I hope you should find it enjoyable none the less. If you have got any questions or comments you can contact me at erika@inside-joke.net. Have a nice stay and take care.

Hello, or something
April 17 15:09
I'm here again. I've been working a lot on Nightingale for the last week (Easter holidays, and I'm spending it in front of the computer... sad.) and right now it's only a temporary layout until I am finished with revamping all the content. But even though it's only a temporary layout I like it, well I wouldn't have published it if I didn't.

The Easter holidays were very welcome, but only till I realized that I wouldn't be free from school during it. Three big assignments that I had to finish, so I couldn't enjoy the beautiful spring weather which is finally here as much as I'd wanted. Anyway, I've done all the work I need to do in Physics, almost all I have to do in Swedish and a bit of what I have do to on the essay on places of work.

I've eaten too much cheap Easter candy, like we all do every year, it's hard to know where to stop.

Unbelievable
February 4 16:37
This is unbelievable. My last entry in my blog was the 1st of November 2005. The 3rd of November I feel like blogging again and work on Nightingale. I have this marvelous idea how to make Nightingale interesting again. Make it something I like and can be proud of. But of course everything just has to screw up for me. First the keyboard stops working. But somehow I manage to make it work again, I still don't know what I did, but now the cd-drive gets stuck. And this time there's no chance I can fix it by myself. So I ask my dad, and he can't fix it either. I only have one choice, return it to the store so they can fix it. They told me it would take about two weeks so I'd have my computer back for Christmas. I got the computer back today. So much for two weeks. At least everything is fixed and no files or programs are gone.

So what do one do when without a computer? Well I've actually not been completely computer-less, I've borrowed my mothers and it actually do have photoshop but without all the brushes I've downloaded, and there's no ftp-program and my files in that computer is some of my very early and extremely ugly blends. I've been watching a lot of movies actually. Both at home and at the movie theaters. A lot of movies from the 80's actually, they made a lot of great movies back then.

Then of course, school has begun. Everything is like before except that we have a new teacher in Swedish. She's our third teacher in that class and she sucks. Honestly, she's the most boring teacher I've ever had (not counting supply teachers). All we do during the lessons is listening to how she rambles on about grammar ("Do you know what a noun is?" Well, excuse me but we learned that in 5th grade. This is the 8th grade.) we already know. We've tried to tell her that we want to move on to something more difficult, she got pissed and the next lesson we started to learn about verbs. Hallelujah.

Well, shit
November 1 16:32
Shit. I've totally lost my inspiration and well crap, I don't even know what to write here anymore. School is going fine, I'm off for a week now. Oh joy. Anyway I don't know if I should give up and close this site, or maybe put it on hiatus. I have no time to be as active as I'd like and I am to tired.

SHIT. I missed South Park, again.

My mood today; very buoyant... not.

The Life Laundry
Oktober 8 16:41
Back? Who do I think I'm kidding?
When I finally got my site back up I had no time left for the computer, and there's only one reason to why; homework.
Homework was invented long ago by some malicious teachers that didn't like that their students had so much spare time and today every school give its students homework. In the beginning when I was small I actually liked homework, please kill me for ever being that stupid, but then we only had one assignment a week and it was always something like "find three things at home that begins with an A" or "ask your mum and dad what they work with." Then, before you have the time to say the word Quidditch, you have about 2 - 3 assignments a day and at least one major test a week. Oh my god, I'm going to drown. But I've done fairly well (my friends are going to kill me for calling it 'fairly well') on the tests so far, we had three this week and the week before this one we had three too. But the results I got is none of your business (I got top marks at them all, just so you know).

But this entry in my blog was not supposed to be about the stupid pile with the size of Empire State Building of stupid homework I've got down stairs on the kitchen table. It was supposed to be about what I did today and about my Mum´s favourite tv-show, the British show The Life Laundry.

We've got a shed in our garden that until now have been my Dad´s workshop and a place where we keep things like old skis, boards and planks, several tools and a lot of unidentified rubbish. Mum and Dad have now decided that we are going to take this shed away and build a new small house, and thus we had to take out everything from the shed. And I tell you, it would really have been something for The Life Laundry, I don't think they've ever seen that much crap ever in their lives. Though a show where they take everything out from our shed wouldn't have been that much fun cause everything would have been thrown into the crusher (Don't you guys just love that part where they have to throw everything they couldn't sell or give away into the crusher at the end?) and there hadn't been any stories about how some relatives died and that their death was the reason to why we stored so much junk in our shed to cry about. Next episode of The Life Laundry is next Friday and then I'll, hopefully, be inspired to tidy my room. Well, Mum, you wish. Crossing Jordan is back so that's what I'll be watching next Friday.

A Kräm for Sarah (don't ask)

I'm back, kind of...
September 22 19:29
I'm tired of being on hiatus so I open the site once more. Right now there's not very much content but it will come, I promise you, it will come. That's all for now cause I don't have time for blogging, I have homework... French and my teacher will kill me if I don't do my homework.

By the way, visit my BC-site; im-alive.net/blends
